The Israeli Association of Children’s Villages SOS provides a warm home for children at risk in Israel, psychological support, academic help, enrichment classes and a warm hug. The association operates two children’s villages in Israel, Migdal Haemek, Arad and 14 other clubs for children at risk

It is important to know that the children’s villages are private homes, which allow for a routine life alongside the supervision of a housewife who is present with them 24/7

The association is a member of an international federation founded by Hermann Gmeiner in 1949 in Imst, Austria. Geminer was determined to help needy children – children who had lost their homes, personal security and family as a result of World War II. With the support and help of many donors and partners, our organization has grown into a worldwide organization that helps children all over the world

We act in the spirit of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and promote these rights while respecting all religions and cultures
